The Community Covenant
These are the rules that govern this registry. To post, to review, to file a dispute, or to represent a church, you agree to be bound by them.
Article I
Facts before opinions
Every claim of wrongdoing on WageWorthy must be supported by verifiable evidence before it can be submitted. We publish records, not rumors.
Article II
Matthew 18 is the pathway
Disputes proceed through private reconciliation, then a witness, then the leadership of the church, before anything is made public. We will not host a public accusation that has not first been carried privately.
Article III
No anonymous accusations
Every reviewer, questioner, and complainant is a real, identity-verified person. Public display uses first name and last initial to protect from harassment — but nothing on this registry is anonymous.
Article IV
Responses appear beside claims
Every accused church or leader has a right to respond, and their response is displayed side-by-side with the claim, never below the fold, never hidden.
Article V
Restoration over cancellation
Resolved disputes are marked prominently. A church that has repented and restored is honored for it. The goal is repentance, reconciliation, and truth — not a permanent record of shame.
Article VI
Doctrine before denomination
We compare churches on what they actually teach, not on the sign outside. Every church answers the same questionnaire.
Article VII
Transparency, not popularity
We do not rank churches by attendance, sentiment, or reviews. The Transparency Score measures what a church has chosen to disclose publicly.
Article VIII
Sober speech
This is a registry, not a message board. There are no reactions, no trending disputes, no infinite feed. The tone is dignified because the subject is.
